The Cougars topped a scrappy Springbrook team this evening by the score of 7-1. With goals scored by 5 different players, using a variety of attacks, from coordinated linked play, to a scrappy loose ball goal and even a PK! Tallying goals tonight for QO were the following players: Kayla Clarke, Ele Margelos (2), Leah Prentice, Yvonne Latour (2) and Lane Kurkjian.
With QO out to a comfortable lead, Coach Keiller was free to try some on field variations from the normal positions. The girls looked very relaxed tonight and maintained their normal possessive game. Some very clean passing and great goal keeping from freshman Gabby Paolini allowed the Cougars to totally dominate the team from Springbrook.
